Upcoming SUV Tata Safari launch on February 22
Creating a storm in the SUV market, Tata’s all-new Safari is set to be launched on February 22, 2021. The home-grown automaker unveiled the Tata’s flagship SUV on January 26 in India. Before its official launch, clients can have an interactive 3D experience of the new Safari from their gadgets. Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive brand, also started accepting 2021 Tata Safari bookings at a refundable token amount of INR 30,000. Customers can book the SUV at their nearest Tata Motors Authorized Dealership or online through its official website. The new safari is now on display and available for test drives across the company’s dealer network.
Now, let’s quickly discuss the important information. Powered by a Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, The new Tata Safari SUV will be available in six trims XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+, of course with the option of a diesel manual or automatic, but no petrol model or 4×4 option. The diesel engine belts out a maximum power output of 170 bhp at 3,750 rpm along and a peak torque of 350 Nm between 1,750 rpm to 2,500 rpm.
It’s no hidden secret that the new Safari is more or less a three-row version of the Harrier, the new Safari is based on the same OMEGA architecture that is employed by the Tata Harrier. The new Safari will be equipped with features such as an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, a semi-digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, and powered driver’s seat. In terms of kit, safety features on offer will include 6 airbags, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, hill-descent control, terrain response modes, an electronic parking brake, HID projector headlights and more.
