Three Tata Cars To Enter Next Generation – Based On Alfa Platform

The Tata Tiago, Tigor and Nexon are the best-selling Tata models right now and the reports state that all the three models are due for a mid-life facelift soon. Tata has planned to give a generation change to its three popular models and the company is working on Nexon subcompact SUV, Tiago hatchback and Tigor sub-4 meter compact sedan. The next generation of all three brands will be based on the new ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform, which also underpins the Altroz hatchback.

What is ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) Platform?

The futuristic and versatile ‘Agile Light Flexible Advanced’ (ALFA) Architecture comes with a radical new approach to design – allows multiple body styles to meet the evolving aspirations of customers in the automotive market. With lightweight, modular and flexible characteristics, the ALFA Architecture has the ability to evolve into a range of modern, youthful and agile vehicles in a short development cycle. The ALFA platform is the latest addition and would underpin all small-to-medium sized Tata vehicles.
