Tata Nexon With New Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels Reaches Dealerships
Tata Motors has silently given numerous crucial updates to the Nexon line-up. The homegrown manufacturer has introduced the new 5-spoke, 16-inch alloy wheels on the compact SUV model lineup. The new 16-inch 5-spoke two-tone alloy wheel designs have replaced the old V-spoke alloy rims design which frankly looked unique, bolder, and better. The variants equipped with the new alloy wheels have started reaching dealerships.
Apart from the new five-spoke alloy wheels, the Tata Nexon subcompact SUV recently received two updates including the voice assistance system supporting Hinglish language and discontinuation of the Tectonic Blue color of the SUV. It now comes in five shades – Foliage Green, Calgary White, Flame Red, Pure Silver, and Daytona Grey.
Tata Nexon Variants
The 2021 Tata Nexon subcompact SUV comes in 12 variants and 4 trims (XE, XM, XZ, and XZ+) priced from Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Please note, the new diamond-cut alloy wheels are available on XZ+, XZ+ (S), XZ+ (O), XZA+, XZA+ (O), and XZA+ (S) variants.
Nexon Specs and Features
As for mechanicals, it continues to be offered with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit churns out 118 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque, the diesel engine depicts 108 bhp and 260 Nm of power figures. Transmission options include a six-speed manual unit and an AMT unit. The safety kit includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and an electronic stability program (ESP) as standard across the range. Subcompact SUV has highlighted features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, cruise control, cruise control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
