New Jaguar F-Pace Facelift Launched in the Indian Market
The British carmaker has launched the Jaguar F-Pace facelift in India. For the first time, the F-PACE is available exclusively in the R-Dynamic S trim in the Indian market. The new 2021 Jaguar F-Pace has been launched in India at Rs. 69.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Jaguar F-Pace first went on sale in India in 2016 when it was introduced as a completely built unit (CBU).
2021 Jaguar F-Pace Facelift Engine Options
The 2021 model brings back the option of a diesel powertrain. Under the hood, it is available with the choice of petrol and diesel engines. It comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol motor that makes 247 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 365 Nm @ 1,300-4,500 rpm as well as a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel unit that produce 201 BHP @ 4,250 rpm and 430 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. Both engines are offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Jaguar F-Pace Facelift Interior
Being a facelift, the new Jaguar F-Pace has now a modern and tempting interior design. On the inside, the F-Pace facelift does not get any major design changes but minor updates. The F-Pace comes with a bigger and intuitive 11.4-inch Pivi Pro curved glass touchscreen infotainment system along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It comes packed with features like electrically reclining rear seats, four-zone automatic climate control with cabin air ionisation and a PM2.5 filter which captures ultra-fine particles, panoramic sunroof, adaptive LED headlights, powered front seats, 3D surround camera, Meridian audio system and smartphone pack and remote.
The cabin is also draped in soft-touch materials and other details like cricket ball stitching and aluminum inserts add to its premium appeal. The F-PACE has also received two new interior colorways – Mars Red & Sienna Tan. A few months back, Jaguar Land Rover has launched its much-awaited first electric car, the I-Pace in India.
Jaguar F-Pace Facelift Exterior Design
In terms of styling, the F-Pace facelift SUV has a more rounded front fascia with a larger grille, restyled bumpers, sleeker LED headlights that are slimmer than before, sporting slim J-blade DRLs. The enlarged grille is finished in dark piano black sporting the iconic Jaguar emblem. With the facelift, Jaguar is offering the F-Pace in the R-Dynamic S trim, which adds a ‘Shadow Atlas’ finish to the diamond mesh grille, blacked-out inserts on the bumper, and black alloy wheels.
The Jaguar F-Pace facelift goes up against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Lexus NX 300 h, Volvo XC60 and the upcoming Audi Q5 facelift.
