Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder Launched in India
Italian luxury sports cars and SUVs manufacturer, Lamborghini has launched the Huracan EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder in the Indian market at Rs 3.54 crore (ex-showroom). Though it had made its debut globally in May 2020, the carmaker took more than a year to bring in the Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder to our country.
This is the second launch from Lamborghini in India within a year after the car manufacturer drove in the Huracan Evo RWD Coupe at a price of Rs.3.22 crore in the country.
Huracan Evo RWD Spyder: Powertrain and Performance
Mechanically, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder is powered by a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine that can make a whopping 602 bhp of max power and 560 Nm of max torque, down by 30bhp and 40Nm compared to the all-wheel-drive (AWD) Huracan. With a top speed of more than 320 kmph, the car can cover zero to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds.
The carmaker claims a dry weight of 1509kg for the Huracan Evo RWD Spyder, which is a whole 120kg more than the RWD coupe. This is largely down to the fabric roof and its folding mechanism, which takes 17 sec to deploy or retract, and can be done at up to speeds of 50kmph.
Huracan Evo RWD Spyder: Interior
Inside the cabin, The Huracan Evo RWD Spyder gets the same features as the Huracan EVO RWD Coupe. There is an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes mounted on the centre console and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa voice recognition features.

The Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder costs Rs 3.54 crore (ex-showroom), making it about Rs 32 lakh more expensive than the RWD Coupe and about Rs 56 lakh less expensive than the AWD Spyder.
