Kawasaki 2022 Z900 RS Gets New Paint Candy Tone Blue
Kawasaki launches a new paint scheme on the 2022 version of the retro-styled Z900RS motorcycle that is based on the Z900 street bike platform. This new paint scheme known by the name candy tone blue and has been inspired by the 1975 Z1. The brand introduced the retro-styled Z900 RS to much fanfare in 2018. This new blue paint scheme on the bodywork and on the golden accent enhance the overall look of the motorcycle.
Kawasaki 2022 Z900 RS Specs
In terms of performance, the bike is powered by a liquid-cooled, 16-valve, DOHC, 948cc, inline-four engine that churns out 108bhp. This engine made it such a strong performer in the modern-classic class. The Z900Rs come with Assist & Slipper Clutch, Dual Throttle Valves, Economical Riding Indicator, KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), Sound Tuning, ABS (Anti-lock Brake System), ERGO-FIT, Horizontal Back-link Rear Suspension.
The 2022 Z900RS has already been launched in the US. Launched in 1972, the first Z1 flaunted a candy orange and brown livery in the U.S. that earned the nickname “fireball”. The Indian market used to get the Z900RS but it discontinued the model due to poor sales. The Japanese firm continues to sell the standard Z900 model though.
