Hyundai to Launch Creta SX Executive Variant Cheaper Than SX
The South Korean manufacturer, Hyundai has introduced a new Creta SX Executive variant. Now, the company is ready to launch this new variant of the Creta called SX Executive. Based on the regular SX grade, it slots between the S and SX trims. New SX Executive will sit below the SX variant. This new variant will cost Rs. 79000 less than the SX variant.
A couple of months ago, Hyundai increased the prices of its hot-selling Creta by up to 20k. At that time, Hyundai Creta EX, S, SX, and SX (O) trims got feature updates while the entry-level E variant saw feature deletion.
Hyundai Creta SX Executive Features
In terms of features, it gets equipment such as body-colored door handles instead of the chrome ones, day/night mirror, day/night IRVM, multi-functional steering wheel with mounted controls, reversing camera, USB port, shark fin antenna, Bluetooth mic, etc. There is an option to install audio accessories at the dealership, which will not affect the warranty. This allows consumers more freedom to choose from.
The SX Executive is based on the SX trim but misses out on a long list of features. It won’t offer Hyundai’s BlueLink in-car connectivity option, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice recognition button, Arkamys Sound Mood, driver rearview monitor, and burglar alarm.
New Hyundai Creta SX Executive Powertrain
The Creta SX Executive will be offered with 1.5-liter petrol and 1.5 diesel manual option. The 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine makes a maximum power output of 115 PS and 144 Nm of peak torque and a 1.5-liter diesel unit churns out 115 PS and 250 Nm. Both engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Talking about the price, SX Petrol MT has currently priced at Rs 13.93 lakh, ex-sh. SX Executive petrol is to be priced around Rs 13.14 lakh while SX Executive diesel is to be priced around Rs 14.15 lakh. This makes SX Executive about Rs 79k cheaper than the SX MT variant.
