Hyundai Alcazar Three-Row SUV to be Launched in India on June 18
Hyundai’s new upcoming three-row SUV Alcazar India launch date has finally been announced. The Hyundai Motor India Limited on 10th June officially announced that this three-row SUV will be launched for sale on 18th June 2021. Interior and Safety Features
Hyundai Motor India Limited also recently gave us our first look at the Alcazar’s interior, revealing the same dashboard layout as the Creta, but a new brown-black paint scheme and a segment-first fully digital driver’s display. The SUV will come loaded with features such as voice recognition, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bose sound system, drive, and traction modes, and automatic climate control. Safety will be taken care of by 6 airbags, an Anti-lock braking system with Electronic brakeforce distribution, a 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control.
Variants and Colour Options
The carmaker will offer Hyundai Alcazar in three different variants: Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature, and Signature (O). Additionally, it will be available in 6 single tone and two dual-tone shades. Single Tone colour includes Phantom Black, Polar White, Starry Knight, Tiga Brown, Titan Gray and Typhoon Silver. Dual tone includes Polar White with Phantom Black Roof and Titan Gray with Phantom Black Roof. It will come in a 6-seater format with captain seats in the middle and a 7-seater format with a bench in the middle row.
Powertrain and Performance
This Hyundai Alcazar will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. Its petrol variant has a 2.0L engine that produces 159PS of max power and 192Nm of peak torque. In addition, the diesel variant uses a 1.5L engine that produces 115PS of max power and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine has a six-speed manual and automatic torque converter automatic gearbox. The carmaker claims that the new SUV is capable of accelerating from zero to 100 kmph in just 10 seconds.
While prices of Hyundai Alcazar Three-Row SUV will be announced on 18th June, we expect the SUV to retail from Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. It will take on other three-row SUVs, such as the MG Hector+, Tata Safari, and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
