Hyundai Alcazar Official Bookings Open Ahead Of Launch
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) announced the commencement of bookings for its upcoming 6 and 7-seater Hyundai Alcazar. The premium SUV can be booked either at the company’s dealerships or online with a down payment of Rs 25,000. The Alcazar is expected to hit the market later this month. The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor earlier delayed the launch of its Alcazar SUV, due to the ongoing pandemic crisis. Hyundai Alcazar will sit above the Creta on the product lineup.
HMIL Director (Sales, Marketing & Service) Tarun Garg, said “the company became the highest selling SUV manufacturer in India in 2020, through its range of SUVs such as Creta, Venue, Tucson, and Kona Electric. Today, we are pleased to open the bookings for Hyundai Alcazar, our Premium 6 and 7 seaters SUV that will offer our customers quality time, making traveling together with a more memorable and fun experience.”
Hyundai Alcazar Interior and Exterior
The Alcazar is loaded with new and modern features just like any other Hyundai car. Even though the Alcazar shares the same platform as the Creta, there are differences that are visible. These include a modified grille, a refreshed front bumper, an extended rear quarter glass, taillights featuring a wraparound design, faux exhaust tips and significantly large 18-inch alloy wheels. The premium SUV will be available in six colours.
What comes as a part of the interior package is a lot of space and luxury inside the Alcazar. The SUV will be sold with a host of premium features including a 10.25-inch full-colored digital cluster, dashboard, and door pads having Cognac Brown theme dominated by the large infotainment system with connectivity options, Bose audio with eight speakers, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, air purifier with AQI display, 64-colour ambient lighting, eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, front row seatback table with retractable cup holder, rear window sunshade, Hyundai’s BlueLink connectivity and many more. The Alcazar is offered with a six or seven-seat layout. Hyundai Motor India Limited has released a new video teaser of the Alcazar ahead of its official launch.
Alcazar Engine Options
The Alcazar will be available in two engine options of 2-litre MPi four-cylinder petrol and 1.5-liter four-cylinder U2 CRDi diesel with choices of six-speed automatic and six-speed manual transmissions. The 2-liter petrol engine produces 152 hp and has 191 Nm of torque. The 1.5-liter diesel engine generates115 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque which is the same that is found inside the Creta mid-size SUV.
