Hyundai Alcazar New Teaser Video Released Ahead of India Launch
Hyundai Motor India Limited has released a new video teaser of the Alcazar ahead of its official launch that is expected to take place in June 2021. The promotional video teaser reveals other members of the Hyundai sports utility vehicle family writing the name of the Alcazar at the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat. The new Hyundai Alcazar will be offered in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations and its technical specifications have also been revealed. It is scheduled to go on sale next month in our country and will rival Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
2021 Hyundai Alcazar: Powertrain
The upcoming 2021 Hyundai Alcazar will be offered with two engine options that include a 2.0L petrol engine and a 1.5-L diesel engine. The 2.0L petrol engine is capable of producing 150bhp and 192Nm of peak torque while the 1.5-L diesel engine produces 115bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. These engines will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed automatic gearbox. The automatic transmission helps in attaining ‘superior performance and fuel economy’ according to the company.

2021 Hyundai Alcazar: Feature List
The feature list of the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar will include LED headlamps, new LED tail lights, silver roof rails, fog lights, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, blacked-out pillars, a chrome strip on the tail-gate with the Alcazar lettering, 3 driving modes (Eco, City, and Sport), arm-rest console for the 2nd row, sliding seats function for the 2nd row, a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and ventilated front seats.
