Hero MotoCorp Launches Virtual Showroom To Sell Vehicles
After the pandemic struck the world in 2020, the way we used to live underwent a lot of changes. With India reeling under the second wave of COVID-19 and lockdown imposed in many parts of the country, India’s Leading Two Wheeler Company, Hero MotoCorp has launched an online virtual showroom. The virtual showroom would enable customers to discover, engage and purchase the company’s motorcycles and scooters digitally. This initiative has been introduced by the firm soon after the launch of Sales and after-sales services on the messaging app, Whatsapp.

Currently, Hero Virtual Showroom showcases 9 products. These include the Hero Xpulse 200, Xtreme 200S, Xtreme 160R, Pleasure Plus, Maestro Edge 125, Maestro Edge 110, Destini 125, Splendor+, and Passion Pro.

Virtual Showroom Highlights
Hero Product Configurator (HPC) provides the 3D product experience to the customers with all product features, colors, variants aesthetically displayed. Apart from providing a 360-degree view of both the showroom and products, the Accessory Configurator provides an immersive experience of adding the accessories of choice to the vehicle. The price of the chosen vehicle is dynamically updated basis the variant and location chosen. All of the above-mentioned 2-wheelers can be purchased through Hero MotoCorp’s e-commerce portal (eShop). Hero also offers a ‘Request Callback’ feature to enquire about the vehicle and have the option to purchase it directly as well.
The HPC also offers AR or augmented reality experience where customers can visualize the product right at their homes, offices, etc. Hero’s virtual showroom is available on both iOS as well as Android devices.
