Ducati Streetfighter V4 Teased Before India Launch

Good news for everyone who has been waiting for the naked motorcycle – Ducati Streetfighter V4 to land on Indian markets. The Italian bikemaker has recently teased the said model on its social media channels hinting towards its imminent launch. The launch plans for the super naked bike were revealed in 2020 and now multiple Ducati dealerships across the country have already started accepting bookings for the super naked motorcycle while the launch date remains undisclosed at the moment. The biggest highlight of Ducati’s super naked motorcycle is its Desmosedici Stradale V4 heart that it shares with the Panigale V4. The 1103cc, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine puts out 208 hp of firepower at 12750 rpm while the max torque output is also an impressive 123 Nm. The transmission is a 6-speed unit. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 178 kg which gives it an impressive power-to-weight ratio.

Ducati Streetfighter V4: Variants, Colour Options and Features

Internationally, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is available in two variants (Standard and S) and two colours schemes – Dark Stealth and Ducati Red. We expect to see the same variants and shades in the Indian market. The Motorcycle has a sporty style, featuring a muscular fuel tank with extensions, wide handlebars, and an underbelly exhaust. In terms of electronics, the motorcycle comes with bits like a cornering Anti-lock braking system along with wheelie control, traction control, rider modes, and also, engine braking control system. Some of the key features on Ducati’s super naked motorcycle include an LED setup for lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster, aerodynamic winglets, designer black wheels and upright ergonomics.

In our country, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is likely to be priced in the range of around Rs. 19 to 20 lakh (ex-showroom price). It is a direct rival to the likes of KTM 1290 Super Duke R, Aprilia Tuono V4, Yamaha MT-10, Kawasaki Z H2, and the BMW S1000R in the global markets.

Apart from the Streetfighter V4, the bikemaker will also soon introduce the Multistrada V4 adventure bike in India later this year.
