Deliveries of 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Motorcycle begin in India
Kawasaki has launched its new 2021 Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle. The bike made its international debut in Q4 2020, and Kawasaki India launched this new premium supersport motorcycle last month. Kawasaki India has launched the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R at a tempting price of Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Though the company had announced the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R’s price as well as detailed specs, it did not immediately start the new bike’s deliveries across the country. Now, Kawasaki India has finally commenced the deliveries of the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R to customers. The first motorcycle was handed over to its customer in Delhi and subsequently, Kawasaki will commence the deliveries to the respective customers according to the bookings.
2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – Features
Powering the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is an updated BS6-compliant 998cc in-line four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It produces 200bhp (210bhp with Ram air intake) at 13,200rpm and 114Nm of peak torque at 11,400rpm, paired with a standard six-speed gearbox, with a bidirectional quick-shifter as standard. The engine gets a Finger follower valve actuation mechanism coated with Diamond-like Carbon. The motorcycle comes equipped with five levels of traction control and four riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, and Individual. Interestingly, the motorcycle also has power modes that alter the delivery in three different settings – Low, Middle, and Full.
More feature-rich than its predecessor, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R comes equipped with a new aerodynamic upper cowl with a 3D River Mark emblem, Sport-Kawasaki traction control system, engine brake control, twin LED headlights, electronic cruise control, a taller windshield, cowl-mounted mirrors with LED turn signals, cornering management function and many more.
Kawasaki K-Care package
To give buyers of the ZX-10R more peace of mind and a better overall ownership experience, Kawasaki India has introduced a K-Care package for its customer. K-Care package offers an extended warranty and offers benefits of an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for a tenure of four years from the time of purchase. Kawasaki offers a two-year/30,000km standard warranty on the Ninja ZX-10R and the K-Care pack will cover the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle for additional two years/50,000km – a total of 4-year in the complete ownership tenure of the motorcycle. This pack is exclusively tailored for the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and the company plans on bringing similar benefits to its customers opting for other Kawasaki models in its 2021 line-up.
The Kawasaki ZX-10R rivals the Ducati Panigale V2, BMW S1000 RR and the Honda CBR1000RR-R.
