Citroen C5 Aircross SUV Launching Tomorrow – Price Expectation
The long-awaited Citroen C5 Aircross SUV – Smooth Unique Vehicle will finally go on sale in the Indian market tomorrow. Bookings for the 2021 C5 Aircross 5-seater premium have already been commenced, and interested customers can pre-order the Citroen C5 Aircross SUV online or via Citroen’s La Maison dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 50,000.
Citroen C5 Aircross – Price Expectation
The SUV comes to India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kit and is locally-assembled at the CK Birla facility in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The new C5 Aircross SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 30 lakh.
Variants – Digital Instrument Panel, Automatic AC and Other Features
The 2021 Citroen C5 Aircross will be offered in two variants – Feel and Shine. The Citroen C5 is equipped with several high-end features as standard. It comes fitted with a 12.3-inch TFT digital instrument panel, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, park assist pack, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, electrically adjustable outside mirrors, and powered ORVMs. The SUV also gets automatic headlamps and wipers, cruise control, follow me home headlamps, rear windshield defogger, keyless entry and go, and a tyre pressure monitoring system as standard. The top-spec Citroen C5 Shine variant gets a panoramic sunroof, hands-free tailgate and LED headlamps, which are missing in the Feel variant.
Engine and Transmission
2021 Citroen C5 Aircross SUV is powered by 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that is capable of developing 177 PS (130 kW) @ 3750 rpm of power and 400 Nm @ 2000 rpm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Citroen C5 Aircross has an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl.
