Bajaj Pulsar Dagger Edge Edition Launched In India
Bajaj Auto has silently launched the ‘Dagger Edge’ editions of the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180, and the Pulsar 220F in India. In FY2021, Bajaj Auto sold a total of 945978 units of the Pulsar (All Pulsar models combined). The bike manufacturer launched the new Pulsar NS125 a week ago. Now, Bajaj has introduced Dagger Edge Edition variants of its Pulsar 150 twin disc, 180 and 220F models, all of which sport no mechanical changes.
Pulsar 150 Dagger Edge Edition
Let us begin with the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Dagger Edge Edition. It receives two new colours which are Pearl White (with red and black highlights) and Sapphire Blue (with white and black highlights). There are highlighting stickers on the front fender, engine cowl and on the rims as well. The new edition comes with a host of cosmetic updates.
However, no changes have been made on the mechanical front. It continues to get the same 149.5cc single-cylinder engine that meets BS6 standard, which develops 13.8bhp at 8,000rpm with peak torque of 13.25Nm at 6,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Pulsar 180 Dagger Edge Edition
Up next is the 2021 Pulsar 180 Dagger Edge Edition which is offered with Pearl White, Volcanic Red and Sparkle Black colours but not the Saffire Blue. There is no change in the engine output or the features. The Pulsar 180 continues to get a 178.6 cc single-cylinder motor, which is air-cooled and BS6 compliant as well. It makes 16.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 14.52 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
Pulsar 220F Dagger Edge Edition
Finally, the 2021 Pulsar 220F Dagger Edge Edition is offered in a total of four colour choices and they are Pearl White, Sapphire Blue, Sparkle Black and Volcanic Red. The bike continues to draw power from a 220 cc single-cylinder engine which makes 20.11 bhp at 8,500 rpm while the peak torque is rated at 18.55 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

As we told earlier the new edition basically get new colour schemes means only cosmetic updates are introduced and no mechanical changes are there. The Pulsar 150 Dagger Edge has priced at Rs 1.02 lakh while the dual disc variant is priced at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Pulsar 180 Dagger Edge Edition motorbike is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the Pulsar 220F Dagger Edge Edition is being offered at Rs 1.28 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
