Bajaj CT 110X Arrives at Dealerships Ahead of India Launch
Bajaj Auto, an Indian multinational two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturing company is putting efforts to expand its portfolio with a number of new product launches slated for the next few months. Bajaj Auto will be launching a new variant of the CT 110 commuter motorcycle called the ‘110X’ which has now been spotted ahead of its official launch in India. Bajaj CT 110X – Design and Engine
Bajaj is looking to cater to the rising demand for affordable, efficient, and rugged motorcycle catering to the last-mile delivery business. As a result, the CT 110X design is focused on making the life of a delivery person easier on the motorcycle. There is a rear rack for carrying luggage and a bash plate has also been added to keep the engine protected.
On the engine front, as per the leaked sources, the bike seems to use the powertrain from the Bajaj Platina 110. In terms of mechanicals, there is a 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which features electronic fuel injection. There is no official update, but this 115cc, single-cylinder, the air-cooled motor is protected by a bash plate and this powertrain is expected to make 9.4PS and 8.4Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a standard four-speed gearbox.
Bajaj CT 110X Features
The spy image reveals that at the front it receives a round headlamp capped with a matte finished visor sporting an LED DRL for more visibility. Other design changes include gators for telescopic suspension, rubber pads on the fuel tank, a single-piece seat, full chain cover, engine sump guard, crash protectors, alloy wheels, a factory-fitted luggage rack, dual-sided long-piece foot-rest which will also help with load carrying. The motorcycle is also offered with MRF tyres that features a black pattern to handle rough road patches easily.
Bajaj CT 110X Expected Price
Bajaj Auto is famous as a secretive manufacturer because its vehicles reach the dealership first and then information flows about them. There is no word on the pricing though we expect Bajaj to make an announcement on this soon. Bajaj is expected to price the motorcycle slightly more than the standard variant because of all the new upgrades. When launched, it is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom).
