2021 Triumph Speed Twin Bike Listed on Indian Website – Launch Soon
The largest UK-owned motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph bike maker teased the new Speed Twin bike a few days back. Now the motorcycle has been listed on the Indian website indicating that it is headed for the local launch soon. The price of the brand new Triumph Speed Twin is not revealed yet but the rest of the details regarding the India-specific model have been listed on the official site.
Single Variant and Three Colour Options
The latest-generation Triumph Speed Twin motorcycle will be sold in our market in a single variant and three different shades including Jet Black, Red Hopper, and Matte Storm Grey. While the former Jet Black shade can make the entry-level variant, the rest two are likely to be priced slightly higher.
Triumph Speed Twin: Engine and Performance
As of powertrain, new Speed Twin sits a 1200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine has been rated to generate 98.6bhp of max power at 7250rpm and 112Nm of max torque at 4250rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The avg fuel economy from this motor has been rated at 5.1-litre/100km or 19.60km/l.
Triumph Speed Twin: Design and Features
With the latest update, the Triumph Speed Twin classic two-wheeler has gained more premium 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks at the front and Brembo M50 callipers.
As for design updates, It includes new graphics and brushed aluminum mounts for the fenders, anodized headlamp mounting brackets, and 12-spoke alloy wheels. It also comes with electronics features such as an Anti-lock braking system, switchable traction control and LED lighting including DRLs. The bike rider can also choose from any of the riding modes such as Road, Rain, or Off-Road.
The pricing announcement on the 2021 Speed Twin motorcycle is likely to take place soon. For the record, the previous BS four-spec used to retails at Rs. 9.46 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
