2021 Tata Safari launched in India

Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive brand, has finally launched the much-awaited 2021 Tata Safari in India, with prices starting at Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the 6/7 seater. The Indian carmaker has introduced the SUV in nine variants XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZA+, and two different seating layouts – Six and Seven. Tata Motors has also unveiled a new Adventure Persona trim which is placed at the very top of the line at Rs 20.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for manual and Rs 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for the automatic version.

With an arresting design, unparalleled versatility, plush and comfortable interiors, the 2021 Tata Safari uses the same Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that is available with the Tata Harrier. The engine produces 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. The engine is either mated with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2021 Tata Safari comes equipped with an 8.8-inch floating island infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, signature oyster white interiors paired with the ashwood finish dashboard, automatic climate control, majestic panoramic sunroof, boss mode, R18 alloy wheels, mood lighting, cruise control, iRA connected car technology, an electronic parking brake, terrain response modes, JBL-sourced nine-speaker music system with amplifier, and a six-way powered driver seat. It consists of a variety of safety features such as six airbags, electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold, hill descent control, traction control, hill hold control, roll-over mitigation, corner stability control, ABS with EBD, all-disc brakes, rear parking sensors and more.

The new Tata Safari gets three drive modes – Eco, City and Sport and the standard variants will be sold in three colours which includes Royal Blue, Orcus White and Daytona Grey. The company is already accepting bookings for the new Safari, which can be booked across all authorised dealerships with a token amount of Rs 30000.
