2021 Suzuki Hayabusa India Launch Date Officially Revealed

The Japanese bikemaker, Suzuki Motorcycle has finally revealed the launch date of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa for the Indian market. It was earlier reported that the new-generation Suzuki Hayabusa will be launched in India in the month of April and has already been listed on Suzuki Motorcycle India’s website. The wait is finally over! Suzuki has announced that it will launch the new Hayabusa on April 26, 2021. Suzuki Motorcycle India has revealed this news through its Twitter social media handle. Japanese bikemaker’s latest teaser on its social media handle finally declares the arrival of the Suzuki Hayabusa on Indian shores on 26 April 2021.

Suzuki Hayabusa Mechanical Specifications

Mechanically, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa superbike gets a 1340cc in-line four-cylinder engine. It produces 190bhp at 9,700 rpm and peak torque output is rated at 150 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-assist clutch that delivers power to the rear wheel. It also comes with a bi-directional quick-shifter and ride-by-wire technology as standard. Suzuki also claims that the top speed of the 2021 Hayabusa has been limited to 299km/h.

In terms of styling, it carries a more polished and futuristic design language. The new revised model of the Hayabusa bike has a handlebar, which is closer to 12 millimeters for the rider or bike rider. It comes with a new LED headlight and taillight units. New bodywork includes new ram air intake, side panels, mirrors, flyscreen, and rear seat cowl.

The previous-generation Hayabusa priced at Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom). While the exact pricing for the superbike will be announced at the time of launch, we expect Suzuki to price the 2021 Hayabusa in the range of Rs 15 – 17 lakh, ex-showroom. Due to the massive spike in COVID-19 cases and lockdowns in most metropolitan cities, the launch will probably be a virtual one. Deliveries of the first lot of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa are slated to begin from June.
