2021 MV Agusta Rush 1000 Hypernaked Revealed: Key Highlights
MV Agusta motorcycle manufacturer has revealed a new 2021 version of the limited edition MV Agusta Rush 1000 Hypernaked, which now meets Euro 5 norms and has been significantly updated. Like before, only 300 units of the exclusive hyper naked motorcycle will be built. These hyper naked are known for being some of the fastest naked bikes available, with a top speed of around 300 kmph. For 2021, MV Agusta Rush 1000 Hypernaked motorcycle gets a lot of improvements, including a reworked engine, lean-sensitive electronics and distinctive shades.
2021 MV Agusta Rush 1000: Engine and Electronics
The motorcycle comes with a 998 cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine that produces 208hp at 13000rpm and the optional race kit unlocks an additional 4hp to take the total to 212hp at 13600rpm. The engine gets few internal improvements aimed at increasing efficiency, such as Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating on the valve buckets and lower friction primary drive gearing. The six-speed gearbox has been updated, too, with a revised quick-shift clutch, called EAS 3.0, for even more precise shifts.
In terms of electronics, the 2021 version of the limited edition MV Agusta Rush 1000 Hypernaked gets IMU-assisted traction control and cornering Anti-lock braking system. As expected, there are ride modes, ultra-precise traction control, and FLC wheelie control settings to choose from.
The settings can be accessed via a new 5.5-inch TFT display that also offers My MV App connectivity. This allows bike riders to adjust settings remotely.
2021 MV Agusta Rush 1000: Design and Features
The Limited Edition MV Agusta Rush looks highly distinctive and comes forward with a very intimidating exterior design. Bits like a beefy tank, under-seat exhausts, neatly integrated tail-lamp, and tiny pillion seat make the Rush looks quite unique. It comes covered in a military colour scheme with yellow highlights. And buyers can also opt for a carbon fiber helmet as well as merchandise as special parts.
Some of the key features of the new MV Agusta Rush include all LED lights, GPS, Bluetooth, 5.5-Inch TFT dash, MV ride app, mobisat tracker, and navigator. Its rider aids and performance features include an Anti-lock braking system MK100 with a cornering function to ensure ultimate braking control even at an angle, cruise control launch control, and front lift control.
The two-wheeler has been priced at Euro 38800 (equivalent to Rs. 34.65 lakh). Needless to say, it might not arrive in our country through official doors anytime soon.
